THE NEW HOME OF TEMPEST

You might know this already, but we're in the midst of moving our brewery from Tweedbank Industrial Estate to nearby Tweedside Park. The growth of the brewery has resulted in us pushing the limits of our current Tweedbank home and it became undeniable that we had to move the operation somewhere bigger.

We knew we weren't going to move far; primarily because we love it here, but as importantly because of the quality and softness of the water down here (and the idea of carting all our brewery equipment any further than a mile away didn't really excite us)

The new home of Tempest is Tweedside Park in the old Barbour clothing factory... with a huge brew house, two taproom spaces, bigger beer garden and shop, just a stone's throw from the old site and only a 5 minute walk from Tweedbank train station.

 The move will allow us to brew more, brew better and brew more efficiently as well as opening the taproom more days for more people. More than just a new home, the move represents a new chapter in the Tempest story.
