OUR NEW HOME

We've spent the last few years pushing the limits of our original Tweedbank brewery and it became undeniable that we had to move the operation somewhere bigger. We knew we weren't going to move far; mostly because of the quality and softness of the water down here, but also the idea of carting all our brewery equipment any further than a mile away didn't really excite us.

From 2024, the new home of Tempest is Tweedside Park in the old Barbour clothing factory... with a huge brew house, two taproom spaces, bigger beer garden and shop, just a stone's throw from the old site and only a 5 minute walk from Tweedbank train station.

The move will allow us to brew more, brew better and brew more efficiently as well as opening the taproom more days for more people. More than just a new home, the move represents a new chapter in the Tempest story.
