The NEW Tempest Taproom is NOW OPEN
We're more than a bit pleased to announce that our new taproom at Tweedside park is finally open. Having spent the whole of the year building our dream site - and negotiating several thousand obstacles along the way - to be finally in and pouring feels pretty surreal.
And when we say Taproom, what we actually mean is Brewery, Taproom, Beer Hall, In-house Kitchen, Brewery Shop and Beer Garden. Our new home - and your new favourite place - is located in the old Barbour factory; a stone's throw from the old brewery and a short walk from Tweedbank train station.
Our standard Taproom opening hours are:
- FRIDAYS 3-10pm
- SATURDAYS 12:30-10pm
- SUNDAYS 12:30-8pm

HOW DO I GET IN TOUCH?

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Of course, we love dogs, but please keep them on a lead and close by.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Yes, but you must have a main meal and they must be supervised at all times.
DO I NEED TO BOOK?
No, walk-ins are welcome but we recommend booking to guarantee a table.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY BOOKING?
Email or call us to change or cancel your booking - even on the day!
If you do not cancel and do not arrive for your table we will charge you £5 per person booked.
DO YOU ONLY SERVE BEER?
No! We have a new range of hand selected wines, local spirits, and AF beers and ciders and soft drinks all from suppliers who share our ethos.
CAN I BOOK FOR A LARGE GROUP?

WILL YOU BE SHOWING THE RUGBY/FOOTBALL?
We are about the beer first and foremost, but our backroom beer hall is perfect for live sport, so it would be rude not to show the big international games.
WHAT TIME'S LAST ORDERS
Last Orders at the Bar is normally 9:15pm unless otherwise advertised.
Last Orders for food is:
Friday and Saturdays 8:30pm, Sundays 5:00pm
If you wish to book a table for 11 or more persons, please fill in the following form:
Please be advised that all bookings of 11 or more persons will need to make a payment of £5 pp to confirm the reservation. The deposit can be refunded on the day of the booking or taken off the final bill.
For ease of service, a reduced menu may be given to parties of 16 or more persons and advance menu choices are preferred, where possible.
