Brave New World
This goes out to the crazy ones, to the wild eyed, to those who chase tomorrow. Brave New World is a classic West Coast IPA with everything levelled up. The grapefruit and pine of the Chinook is the perfect foil for the citrus and floral flavours of Centennial; creating a depth of resinous ‘C hop’ flavours layered with some brighter citrus / fruity notes. A malty backbone with a hint of sweetness allows us to add an aggressive dose of bitterness to create a refreshing and highly drinkable IPA.
The bitter and resinous flavours are what separates Westies from the fruity, low bitterness of New England IPAs.

Reviews
Excellent stuff. Deep, dry and resiny with a crisp and controlled aftertaste. As close to perfect as an IPA gets – it’s like the A Love Supreme of IPAs, really. Other than the fact that A Love Supreme is literally perfect. Well, kind of. Okay, I didn’t mean literally. Can we not get into this now? (foodgazer, RateBeer)
Embark on a voyage of discovery. Pioneering local barley balances a long maturation with North American hops. Bittersweet yet rounded, complex but consistently satisfying. Welcome to a Brave New World. (Ben Metcalfe, UNTAPPD)
Bursting with citrus hop aromas and flavours, remarkably well balanced, nice malty notes on the long finish. The high abv is well hidden. Would I buy again? Certainly! :) (scotty, RateBeer)
