Long White Cloud

This is where it all began... a garage in New Zealand, some local hops, a small cobbled together kit and against all odds an icon was born. Those same hops, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka are still present and correct in this, our love letter to the land of the long white cloud. Carrying all the freshness of a kiwi sauvignon blanc, this is a beer you will keep coming back to.

Reviews

Lychee, lime blossom, lemon zest, gooseberries and elderflower are all up front, and with it's lightly creamy, almost spumante-like body and fresh finish, it is an all-time classic that I simply adore. (Melissa Cole , The Little Book of Craft Beer)

Still one of the best pale ales around. Fresh grapey deliciousness. (David, UNTAPPD)

My favourite beer at the moment. Pale and hazy golden colour. Subtly sweet with slight citrusy bitterness. A complex, refreshing beer that looks great in glass - what more could you want of an evening? (edinbeer, RateBeer)

Loads of tropical fruit in the aroma: juicy papaya, passionfruit, white grape, melon, a touch of citrus. Taste gives plenty of mango and white grape with a bit of lime zest bitterness; a touch of light biscuity malt in there too. Mouthfeel is medium/thin. Nice crisp, dry finish. So refreshing and moreish - a brilliant pale ale. (Beermack, RateBeer)

Golden, with soft, white head. A sharpness on the tongue, provided by the fizziness. The hops are delicious: lychee, other tropical fruits. A sharpish finish. Extremely good. (DanielBrown, RateBeer)
