Dark, brooding and robust, all should bow their heads before the humble porter. Often misunderstood and misappropriated, the real porter is a thing of simple beauty. That's why we use a number of high quality roasted malts to pack in as much depth of flavour as possible in a 5.1% porter… full bodied, roasted coffee, malty, chocolatey… it’s all there.

Dense and persistent brown head and lacing. Fine aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla and cigar box. Similarly fine taste, with hints of smoke and pine. Well balanced bitterness and moderate sweetness. (Holmen2, RateBeer)

It has a rich dark chocolate flavour, nutty and liquorice notes with milk chocolate, currants and oak on the finish. Excellent! (zacgillbanks, RateBeer)
